Sometimes there is too much bureaucracy because company is headquartered in Japan and trying to get things done in the USA is hard. Company keeps buying other companies so time is spent on intergrating companies rather than focusing on day to day tasks.

There are too many middle managers and not enough workers. 4 layers of managers asking what you're doing. No future with this company. No sense of direction from CEO, all they do is acquire random companies and just layoff everyone eventually. Depressing company

Not much career growth opportunities. Most of the time just follow instruction from Japan counterpart.

Poor benefits with no support to male employees 7. Forced work from office else termination punishment 8. Employee unfriendly policies 9. Worst HR team 10. Top Management is partial only to employees who give personal favors to them 11. Years of work, productivity, and loyalty is laughed at without any rewards. Unfair rewards given to under performers 12. No employee career advancement support / programs 13. Many many more… If you are looking for a career, stay away from Renesas.

Pathetic management .... Office politics .... KPI is not that important you achieve or not achieve your big boss have the final say.. Rigid working environment and non flexible working time Less importance to work -life balance ....

After Renesas acquired Dialog, budget was greatly reduced.

Constant changes in higher management have created a lack of stability. There's a lot of talk about scaling, yet the company continues to hire more upper management while letting go of the technical team. Higher management seems focused only on the numbers, without understanding the effort and manpower required to develop a product. They don't take the time to learn about the products and often assume all products are the same level of complexity—when in reality, that’s far from true.

Terrible management - no planning, no coordinating, inconsistency. Driven by culture clash between Japan and US: Japan focused on technology not customers, management fighting and lack of respect between US and Japan causes lack of clarify and focus.

A little bit lower salary

Uncertain future, lack of income, tight budgets, no team-building events, no pay increases, no possibility to move up the ladder.

Jack of all trades, master of none

Work life not balanced in the team

For some people it was difficult to work with Japanese or French teams because of the language. For many it was unpleasant to work with UK teams because of their bureaucratic attitude and people's arrogance & ignoring attitude towards "the other".

Discussions of politics are frequent and theres a very particular ideology given by the Palm Bay location. If you aren't conservative you will probably not feel that comfortable.

Everyone is leaving. Company struggles to think globally.
