Retrenchment prone and very dependent on macro-economic conditions

Lack of investment in technology and poorly executed business plan

Can be tough, might have to work with people overseas

Yearly hike was 5% which is on lower side although seagate claimed to doing great business, no benefits of storage drives to the employees, parents insurance is based on co-payment, no dental insurance, from feb 22 the notice period has been increased from 1 month to 3 months which is a bad decision made by Indian HR team, no work from home setup money provided

Company is conducting mass layoffs

No immediate cons, everyone is nice

If youre not in their insider group, you are prone to get laid off when times are bad

Everything was bad except benefits

Onboarding took 2 months. This company uses reps that have no idea what they are doing. Background check was a nightmare. after wasting 3 weeks waiting on a response, from whatever service they use, they then told me I needed fingerprints for and out of state address I hadn't lived at in 11 years when they only required a 7 year history. Which wasted another 3 weeks. If i hadn't really wanted this position I would have not gone through this.

Current situation not quite good due to low demand
