- Fun workmates - Flexible working hours - Free snacks
- No EPF, SOCSO, payslips as a probationer/contract worker. - No work laptop provided. - No proper HR. CEO runs a one-man show. He can terminate you anytime without referring to human capital because he owns the company. - High turnover rate because CEO refuse to properly compensate. If he promises any amount of compensation (e.g. salary before and after confirmation), better record it in writing. He will gaslight you and say he did not promise any amount. - No proper chain of command. CEO can tell you to do A today and change his decision minutes later as he likes without any discussion. - CEO will text you after working hours. - Benefits are basic (upon confirmation). Parking, clinic, travel. Max amount is little. - Overall scammy company runs by a guy who doesn't know how to do it.
Software engineer
- conducive environment to work in. i.e hot desks. sometimes i work by the tables, sometimes i do work on the couch. - no formal attire, you can wear anything respectful you want. i have been wearing very casual attires with sandals. - have autonomy in your projects. i always share my opinions when working on my tasks, discuss with my higher-ups. and they'll listen to you too! - work times can be flexible/hybrid. - as a software engineer, you will learn a lot. like A LOT! from gathering requirements to production.
- it's a small business, culture may change at times as they are experimenting different approaches in management. - startup environment can be pressuring, fast paced as expected, you may feel a little bit overwhelmed, but its not that often. only happens when development timelines are tight.

I don’t really know. Can’t tell
High turnover rate, handling multiple roles at once
