Workload & Job Scope While the job description outlines a specific role, be prepared to take on additional responsibilities outside your scope. Due to the company's high turnover rate, existing employees often need to cover for those who leave, which can lead to an overwhelming workload. During the interview, you may be told that the company does not promote an overtime culture. However, the reality is quite different—especially in peak seasons when multiple campaigns are running each month. Overtime is expected but not compensated, and personal time boundaries are often overlooked. Since this is an e-commerce company, be prepared to stay responsive beyond regular working hours. If work-life balance is a priority for you, this may not be the best fit unless you urgently need a job. Salary & Compensation It is strongly advised to research market salary rates before negotiating your offer, as the company tends to offer below-market compensation. Be confident in stating your salary expectations to ensure fair pay for the work required. Company Culture & Employee Retention New hires are often viewed as temporary resources rather than long-term investments. The company does not prioritize retention through training, employee benefits, or career development. As a result, turnover is high, and it’s common to see new employees joining and leaving frequently. Training & Growth Opportunities Onboarding and training are minimal to nonexistent, so new hires are expected to learn on the job with little guidance. If you are highly independent and a fast learner, you may adapt quickly, but there is limited structured support to help employees grow in their roles. Leave & Benefits Annual leave starts at only 8 days per year, with increases only after two years of service. This is below industry standards and something to consider when assessing long-term career plans with the company. Final Thoughts If you are considering a role, set clear boundaries and be mindful of taking on additional tasks beyond your job scope without fair compensation. The workload can be demanding, and the lack of training and career progression may not be ideal for those looking for long-term stability.

Pros

- The office - Staff discount on their products

Cons

This is just my personal experience, so take it as you will. - Since this is an e-commerce company, be prepared to work overtime without additional pay and stay responsive at all times. - They make it clear that increments and bonuses are not guaranteed, which can be a red flag. - Salary adjustments and benefits are only given after a significant period, so don’t expect an increment even after your confirmation. - The minimum amount of ALs required by law, only 8 days if that amount bothers you. - They tend to hire entry-level employees but expect them to perform at an expert level. - Training is minimal to nonexistent—if you can pick things up quickly, they assume you don’t need any guidance. - While they acknowledge that new hires need time to learn, they may still let you go for making mistakes or adjusting to their work style. - Absurdly high level of initiative is expected, even from interns or probation employees. If you don’t proactively take on tasks that weren’t assigned to you, it’s seen as a lack of effort. However, if you do take initiative and make a mistake, you’ll still be held responsible - Management often finds ways to make you feel like you’re in the wrong, no matter the situation. But then again, that’s not uncommon in leadership roles. - If you’re an introvert, you might find the work environment comfortable since most communication happens in group chats, and people generally focus on their own tasks. The only voices you’ll hear frequently are from the HODs or founders. - Many higher-ups can be passive-aggressive and don’t make much effort to get to know employees, especially those they consider temporary. If you have a similar mindset and prefer to keep things strictly professional, this company might be a good fit for you. - The company promotes ‘flexible’ work hours, but in reality, you don’t have access to this flexibility until you’ve ‘earned’ their trust. For example, if you work late at night and want to clock in later the next day, your request may still be denied. - New hires are often seen as temporary, which is why the company doesn’t invest much in training, offering benefits that encourage retention, or putting trust in them as proper employees. Instead, newbies are treated more like extra hands to help out. Because of this, many either quit or get laid off quickly, leading to a high turnover rate. You’ll notice new employees coming in almost every week or month.

Pros

-Great colleagues -Short working hours -Near to many eateries -Near LRT -Supporting teammates

Cons

Where should I start: 1) Uncompetitive salary 2) Applied for different job but got different jobs then the boss expects me to do a lot but pay peanuts like their nuts 🥲 3) No career growth 4) Micromanaging managers 5) No flexibility in WFH! I mean bro we are in 21st century as long the employees get the work done should be okay. 6) Managers has no leadership, communication and accountability skills. 7) No training and development provided. 8) A place to learn but never stay loyal and long.
