Not many that I can think of
There are pockets of great people trying to do their best in the face of constant, unorganized change.
The SWO side of the Co-CEO setup was thrust into a role he wasn’t ready to do. He has no vision, no real plan and is completely spineless when it comes to dealing with underperforming leaders who are his long-time friends. The once great culture established by the founder is gone. There is no integrity left in this CEO. The person who was President of NORAM prior to the merger with Crayon (now VP of Sales but still list himself as President on LinkedIn) is the most toxic, incompetent walking embodiment of accurate imposter syndrome that has ever existed. SWO has lost its way, culturally and strategically.
Worked with some very smart people
During the recruitment process, I was informed that the company was expanding the practice in preparation for new business. However, just five months later, I was laid off due to the company not meeting its financial targets. Management team needs to do better at communicating and engaging with employees. SoftwareOne offers Discretionary Time Off (DTO) instead of traditional Personal Time Off (PTO). While DTO is theoretically "unlimited," it does not accrue like PTO. As a result, if you live in a state where unused time off must be paid out, DTO would not qualify for a payout. This structure ultimately benefits the employer more than the employee, as it reduces liability for unused vacation payouts.
