Relaxed atmosphere with great benefits such as a spotify subscription dont have to work too late structure of learning is good
career progression is hard, as promotions dont come easy and a lot of side movement is required. salary isn't as competitive as others in the industry
Anonymous employee
Great location. Super nice people. Friendly work environment.
Not a lot of advancement opportunities. Compensation and benefits could be a little better.
- Large group - Great atmosphere - Many advantages
- Sometimes heavy workload - I don’t see many disadvantages
Great people, great atmosphere, good culture
Outsourced too many services and lost focus
Director
If you love music, it's a great place to be.
Music is a narrow field to work in because it's not easy to change career later.

You can be your authentic self.
Ethnic people not valued and HR processes are shambolic. HR are white women from UK country sides so they’re very out of touch with scene plus they make a lot of mistakes . 99 per cent of management are white and so there’s no diversity here - sorry ! They don’t look like they’re improving things as it’s only face value.
Manager
Good social security Excellent team Pretty office People care about music
None that I could remember
A lot of talented people who are passionate about the work they do. Senior leadership appear to slowly bringing the company out of the dark ages.
Poor work / life balance. Many roles are high pressure and paid lower in comparison to other industries and even rival major labels. Office space is struggling to accommodate the number of employees
Project manager
Great people and great projects. Can get crazy busy sometimes so it's not for everyone but if you're enthusiastic about the music industry, you'll have a great experience working here.
None that I can think of.
- Looks good for your CV - Free pair of gig tickets sometimes - Free vinyls to take
- No work-life balance. - The office is cluttered and crowded with awards, merchandise and vinyls. - Directors and managers have it easier and pile all the work onto lower status employees. - Immature management that uses company expenses on margaritas and alcohol at lunch time or having the whole team to work at the pub. - Due to the constant workload and no resources, managers refused the approval of holiday. - Inequality between departments for concert and festival tickets. - No PROGRESSION at all. The turnover rate is high with many people leaving each month due to receiving offers from other places. - Sexual harassment and phishing hacks is very much alive and well.
