Project engineer
Work-Life Balance: One of the biggest advantages of working at Wipro is the healthy work-life balance. The workload is generally manageable, allowing time for personal growth and relaxation. Learning Resources: Wipro offers a wide range of internal learning platforms and upskilling opportunities. Whether you're brushing up on tech skills or exploring certifications, the resources are solid. Project Allocation: I’ve had the opportunity to work on diverse projects that align with my interests, which has helped in building hands-on experience and industry exposure.
Salary Hike: Compensation is an area where Wipro significantly lags. The salary hikes are minimal and not reflective of the efforts or market standards. Skills Utilization & Alignment: While project allocation is good, there's often a mismatch between an employee’s core skills and the roles they are assigned to, which can be frustrating. Career Growth: Growth in terms of role and responsibilities tends to be slow, especially for junior to mid-level employees.

very nice work place and good work life balance
sometimes you won't get what you deserved
1. Strong emphasis on training through platforms like Wipro Digital Academy 2. Certifications, online courses, and leadership programs help with skill advancement. 3. Structured mentorship and employee resource groups foster a supportive work environment
1. Project-based roles, especially client-facing ones, often involve extended hours or weekend work 2. Since I was from a prestigious college, I got better salary compared to other employers but generally salaries, especially at entry and mid-levels, tend to be lower than those offered by competitors
