Role Summary
The Access Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of communication networks. Job Description
In this role, the Access Network Engineer will engage in day-to-day activities that involve planning, commissioning, and maintaining communication networks. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement communication networks focusing on metro-E and FTTH.
- Plan and commission new projects to enhance network capabilities.
- Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and feasibility.
- Ensure timely delivery and configuration of network equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate project completion.
- Interact with external stakeholders to ensure service delivery standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain service quality.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Science
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
Familiarity with networking products such as Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, and Huawei
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP standards and protocols
