Job Description

The Sales Account Executive (AE) role is responsible for sourcing new sales contracts and major contracts from existing customers in Malaysia. The role involves developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across the country to meet the annual sales quota through a mix of licenses, subscriptions, consulting, application managed services, services IP, and maintenance to achieve revenue and EBIT targets and expand the SAP portfolio. The AE is expected to drive revenue and market share, manage multiple accounts strategically, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and develop long-term relationships with key accounts and partners including SAP across the country.

Job Requirements

6-7 years of relevant industry experience.

Should have handled a quota of about >8 Million MYR.

Subject matter expert in the Application Sales that they represent.

Demonstrated ability to present and discuss solutions confidently.

Demonstrated knowledge of the organisations product offerings relevant to Cloud Solutions.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and work collaboratively with a diversity of stakeholder groups and individuals.

Proven track record of driving profitable revenue growth in the application sales to SMB & LE sectors.

Sales & marketing skills.

Negotiation skills.

Comfortable selling to, influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with client/prospect senior executives.

Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.

Teachable and embracing of best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.

Consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
