Role Summary
The Account Payable Officer/Executive is responsible for overseeing end-to-end payment processes within the Payment Team. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in managing vendor payments and supporting financial operations.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily payment processes, resolving issues and supporting month-end closing activities. You will work closely with the Payment Team to ensure adherence to internal controls and financial compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payment processes within the Payment Team.
- Manage vendor payments and lead payment runs.
- Resolve payment issues efficiently and effectively.
- Support month-end closing and reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial compliance standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline payment processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and payments.
Job Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in Accounts Payables for executive role.
Experience with SAP and familiarity with the Cash Management module are highly preferred.
Strong understanding of payment processes and banking transactions.
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
