Accounts Executive (GL) – Big Bad Wolf Books

This Accounts Executive role involves managing monthly financial operations including preparing management accounts, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The position supports various financial activities such as month-end closing, audits, and budgeting, while also overseeing subordinate account executives and managing fixed assets.

The role involves performing monthly closing of Management Accounts, including journal posting for items such as fixed depreciation, pre-payments, and accruals. The position requires finalizing bank reconciliations, managing daily financial and accounting operations encompassing full set accounts (GL, P&L, AP & AR), cash flow, expenses, claims, and credit control. The individual will prepare monthly and annual financial reports, assist the Finance Manager with monthly variance analysis, projects, and tasks, and support month-end closing, yearly audits, tax, and budgeting activities. The role also includes overseeing and monitoring the work of subordinate account executives, managing PPE by ensuring timely fixed assets recognition, and performing other duties as assigned by management.
