Role Summary
The AI Governance Specialist is responsible for strengthening the governance framework for Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Bank. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that AI solutions are developed and deployed in a responsible, ethical, and compliant manner, in line with regulatory expectations and internal risk standards.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve overseeing AI governance practices and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with regulations. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes ethical AI deployment and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen the governance framework for AI within the Bank.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal risk standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI solutions.
- Monitor and assess AI projects for ethical implications.
- Conduct research on AI governance and data protection laws.
- Develop policies and guidelines for AI usage.
- Provide training and support on AI governance practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Artificial Intelligence, Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, legal, regulatory compliance, or technology risk.
Experience in AI governance, data protection, or intellectual property is an advantage.
Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and data protection laws (e.g., PDPA, GDPR, EU AI Act).
Prior experience in financial services, digital, or fintech environment is preferred.
