The Analyst, IT Security is responsible for monitoring and triaging malicious threats to ensure the security of Prudential's cyber assets. This role operates within a dynamic 24x7x365 environment, collaborating with various teams to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
Job Description
As a Tier 1 Analyst in the Global Security Operations Centre, you will engage in daily monitoring of global system activity and respond to security incidents. Your work will involve analyzing security events across multiple operating systems and collaborating with higher-tier analysts to address potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor global system activity to detect and triage malicious threats.
- Analyze security events across Windows, Linux, and MacOS systems.
- Collaborate with T2 and T3 analysts to investigate log data.
- Escalate incidents to ensure timely response and resolution.
- Maintain awareness of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Document security incidents and responses for future reference.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Job Requirements
Completion of a university internship or previous experience in Technology or IT roles.
Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
Ability to work on-site for scheduled 24x7x365 shifts.
Experience with standard cybersecurity detection and monitoring tools.
Technical proficiency in Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems.
Possession of or motivation to obtain cybersecurity certifications within six months.
Strong analytical capability to break down complex security data.
