Role Summary
The Analyst, Testing is responsible for conducting quality control tests to ensure software meets specified standards and end-user requirements. This role involves collaborating with IT and business users to support various testing phases while ensuring compliance with security and design principles.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day testing activities, creating and executing test cases to validate software functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment focused on quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control tests to ensure software meets specified standards.
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements.
- Develop testing matrices to track testing progress and results.
- Research and implement new techniques in automation, performance, and cloud testing.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
- Collaborate with IT and business users to gather testing requirements.
- Ensure all deliverables align with security, compliance, and design principles.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related academic discipline.
Practical experience working with databases.
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Good understanding of testing processes and established methodologies.
Proficient in creating and executing test cases using Excel or testing tools.
