
The AP Payments Team Leader is responsible for managing the Accounts Payable team within the Global Business Services division. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the finance shared services function and enhancing operational effectiveness.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accurate financial data and compliance with Corporate Accounting Guidelines. You will also lead the transition of accounting knowledge from local finance offices and foster professional relationships with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
8-10 years of experience in finance processing in a high-volume environment, preferably in SSC/BPO.
At least 3 years of management experience, ideally managing team leads.
Master or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent certification preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and transactional activities.
Experience in process migration and/or system implementation preferred.
Proficiency in enterprise systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal English skills; additional Asian/Hindu/Arabic language skills advantageous.
