The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing ship recycling projects from setup to completion while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, contractors, authorities, and yards, developing detailed project plans, managing project scope, schedule, budget, and costs, maintaining comprehensive documentation and reports, enforcing safety protocols, managing project and site teams, and staying updated on technological advancements and regulatory changes.
Job Requirements
Good experience in ship recycling, or related maritime and environmental sectors.
Good knowledge of ship recycling regulations and market.
Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work in challenging environments.
Knowledge of Class rules and industry standards.
Proactive self-motivated team player with high integrity.
Excellent communication skills and a very good command of spoken and written English.
