Role Summary
The Area Lead, IT Security Excellence is responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive Group IT Security strategy. This role ensures a secure IT environment that supports business objectives while complying with regulatory requirements.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the implementation of IT security measures and foster a culture of security awareness within the organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that security protocols are integrated into all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute the Group IT Security strategy.
- Oversee cyber security governance and incident management.
- Promote a security culture across the organization.
- Engage with Boards and regulators on security matters.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Lead and mentor the IT security team.
Job Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 10-15 years of IT/Information Security experience.
At least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience engaging with Boards and regulators.
Strong understanding of IT security and regulatory compliance.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
