The Assistant Director of Sales supports the leadership of the property's segmented sales efforts, including group, transient, association, and corporate segments. This role assists in implementing sales strategies to achieve segment and overall property revenue goals while maintaining guest and employee satisfaction. It involves managing day-to-day sales activities focused on building long-term customer relationships and meeting personal booking targets.
Education requirements include either a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 3 years of relevant experience, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same fields with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with the management team and other departments such as Human Resources, Engineering, and Loss Prevention.
Capability to assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional programs.
Skills in analyzing market and sales data to support revenue management and strategic decision-making.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with guests and internal stakeholders.
Competency in managing sales activities including proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence.
Ability to build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including participation in customer events and sales missions.
Commitment to upholding company Customer Service Standards and property Brand Standards.
