Role Summary
The Assistant General Manager - Water Treatment/ NRW is responsible for overseeing multiple engineering departments focused on water projects and non-revenue water initiatives. This role plays a critical part in managing project development and execution to ensure successful delivery of water-related projects.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day management of various engineering teams, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders to drive project success and maintain high standards in water treatment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project development and execution for water treatment initiatives.
- Manage tendering processes and prepare technical proposals.
- Foster strong client relations to ensure project alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate with engineering departments to streamline project workflows.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations related to water resources.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and mentor project teams to enhance performance and professional growth.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Quantity Surveyor or related discipline).
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in a managerial role within the water industry.
Proven experience in project management and tendering processes.
Strong understanding of the water industry and related regulations.
Proficiency in project management methodologies.
