Role Summary
The PROTÉGÉ is responsible for developing practical skills and gaining experience in the water and wastewater industry. This role involves a comprehensive training program that combines soft skill development with hands-on experience across various operational units.
Job Description
Participants in the PROTÉGÉ programme will engage in day-to-day operations while working closely with different business, operation, and support units. The program includes 2 weeks of soft skill training followed by 30 weeks of on-the-job training to provide real-life industry experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in soft skill training sessions to enhance personal development.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand day-to-day operations.
- Assist in the execution of projects within the water and wastewater industry.
- Support operational units in achieving their objectives.
- Engage in problem-solving activities to improve processes.
- Contribute to team meetings and discussions.
- Document and report on training experiences and learnings.
Job Requirements
Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen.
Fresh graduates with a minimum Bachelor’s Degree from recognised local or foreign institutions in relevant fields.
Minimum CGPA of 2.8 or equivalent.
Proficient in oral and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Strong team player who is self-motivated, driven, and willing to learn.
