The Assistant Manager - Digital Services / Social Media at Sheraton Kota Kinabalu is responsible for supporting the execution of property-level marketing communications through traditional, digital, and social media channels. This role assists in promoting on-brand messaging, managing social media content, supporting advertising campaigns, and helping execute public relations activities to enhance the hotel's image and drive consumer awareness and preference.
A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major with 2 years experience in sales, marketing, digital or related professional area, preferably in hospitality marketing or digital advertising; or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related major with no work experience required.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, Food & Beverage, and Sales to support promotions and campaigns.
Familiarity with managing digital advertising campaigns and social media content management.
Capability to assist with public relations activities including writing press releases and managing media contacts.
Competency in coordinating marketing collateral and ensuring compliance with brand standards.
Willingness to support various communications duties and marketing activities as assigned by management.
Understanding of marketing trends and competitive landscape in the hospitality industry.
