Role Summary
The Assistant Manager - Mechanical & Electrical is responsible for overseeing M&E engineering works within projects. This role involves ensuring the integration of M&E activities with civil works while meeting client expectations and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Description
In this position, you will monitor, supervise, and coordinate M&E activities on-site, collaborating closely with clients and project teams. You will be instrumental in resolving design issues and ensuring that all engineering works align with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee M&E engineering works within projects.
- Monitor and supervise M&E activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with civil engineering teams to ensure integration of works.
- Liaise with clients to address and resolve design issues.
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review tender documentation related to M&E works.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with tender documentation and project lifecycle.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
