The Assistant Resident Engineer role involves supervising construction activities and ensuring quality standards are met through inspections and tests. This position requires coordination with contractors and subcontractors to adhere to schedules, specifications, and drawings while managing material quality and work schedules.
Job Description
The role involves supervising and inspecting site tests conducted by contractors and subcontractors to ensure work completion according to schedules, specifications, and drawings. The individual will also create work schedules for construction staff, inspect material quality, calculate required quantities of materials and equipment, and conduct periodic checks to maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 4 years in site supervision preferably with property developer and/or contractor.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate/Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Civil & Structure).
Required Skill(s): Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office, Proficient in using computer/laptop.
Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering – M&E/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
Willing to travel/relocate to Perak.
Working: 6 days in a week.
Familiar with building regulation, construction technique, material, testing & inspection procedure.
Must have good understanding building regulation, construction technique and project implementation process.
Contract position and renewable basis based on project need.
