The Assistant Sales Manager (Reactive) engages in daily sales activities, focusing on fostering relationships with customers and coordinating with off-property sales channels. Key Responsibilities: - Support soliciting and managing sales opportunities. - Assist in leading daily sales activities. - Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers. - Develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base. - Participate in sales calls to acquire new business or close business. - Provide accurate and effective turnover to Event Management. - Support operational aspects of booked business such as generating proposals and writing contracts.
Job Requirements
Must possess a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in a related major with no work experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with off-property sales channels.
Experience assisting with managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Competence in providing accurate and effective turnover to Event Management.
Knowledge of market trends.
