The Assistant Sales Manager (Reactive) supports soliciting and managing sales opportunities, ensuring timely and proper business turnover for effective service delivery. This role involves assisting in leading daily sales activities, focusing on building long-term customer relationships to meet sales objectives and achieve personal sales goals.
Must possess a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in a related major with no work experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to coordinate sales efforts.
Skills in building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers.
Capability to develop relationships within the community to expand customer base.
Experience assisting with managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Competence in providing accurate and effective turnover to Event Management.
Participation in sales calls to acquire new business or close business.
Support for operational aspects of booked business such as generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.
Knowledge of market trends, competitors, economic conditions, supply and demand to maximize revenue.
Understanding of primary target customers and service expectations to offer appropriate business solutions.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and supporting company customer service standards.
Ability to effectively interact with guests and obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
