The Assistant/Treasury Manager will lead daily treasury operations and manage a team within the Global Business Services division of a maritime company. The role involves managing cash, liquidity, risk services, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies, based in the Kuala Lumpur office reporting to the Treasury Director.
The Assistant/Treasury Manager will join the Global Business Services division to lead daily treasury operations, guide the Treasury Analyst team, manage liquidity, cash, and risk management services, and support strategic financial planning for GBS customers. The role is based in the Kuala Lumpur office and reports to the Treasury Director. Responsibilities include overseeing bank account management, ensuring compliance with treasury policies, promoting fraud prevention, managing guarantees, maintaining relationships with financial institutions, and covering treasury operations in the absence of the Treasury Director.
Degree in Business/ Finance/ Accountancy or relevant industry qualifications (CA/CPA/ACT).
Minimum 8 years of experience from treasury, and/or accounting, audit background is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial controls, processes, and industry best practices.
A proactive, organized & independent individual with a sound technical skill, good analytical mind & meticulous in work.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial applications and Kyriba TMS systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
