Job Description
As a BIOS Engineer at Celestica, you will be responsible for defining technical proposals and specifications while implementing guides for BIOS development. You will collaborate closely with front-end teams, vendors, and customers to fulfill product requests, lead the design of common and customized features for JDM and Portfolio products, and serve as the technical lead for troubleshooting issues. Your role will also involve delivering BIOS release packages for production.
Job Requirements
10+ years’ experience with BIOS/UEFI Firmware development;
Understand x86 architecture and PC related industry standards (PCIe, ACPI, JEDEC, USB, ATA, IPMI, Redfish);
Good experience in BIOS/UEFI firmware framework/code structure, and/or IBV BIOS code, such as AMI/Insyde/Phoenix code;
Familiarity with Intel PI SPEC, EDK I or EDK II; experience with RAS is preferred;
Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills;
Multicultural working experience is desirable.
