Job Description
The Lead Engineer for Manufacturing Process is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing processes for semiconductor capital equipment. This role acts as a bridge between R&D and Production, ensuring that sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems are manufactured efficiently, with high yield and quality. Key responsibilities include designing new manufacturing processes, leading initiatives to improve yield and productivity, and providing advanced technical training to production personnel.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering; a Diploma with over 6 years of specialized experience may be considered.
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the semiconductor or heavy capital equipment industry.
Solid knowledge of electronics, analog, power, and digital systems.
Expertise in Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Familiarity with High Voltage and Insulation testing protocols.
Proficiency in CAD software and tool/fixture design.
Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and global technical standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data-driven reporting.
