This role focuses on identifying and managing new business opportunities related to Microsoft Security solutions. The professional will build relationships with senior client stakeholders and manage the sales lifecycle, collaborating with various teams to develop and promote Microsoft Security solutions and strategies.
The role involves identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities related to Microsoft Security solutions. The professional will build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and manage the full sales lifecycle focused on Security opportunities. Collaboration with Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Microsoft teams is essential to co-sell and co-develop customer engagement strategies. The role includes promoting Microsoft Security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID. The individual will translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value propositions, partner with Pre-Sales Architects and Delivery Teams for proposals and solution designs, and drive joint go-to-market activities with Microsoft. Staying current on Microsoft’s product roadmap, security trends, and compliance requirements is required, as is collaboration with other SoftwareOne business units to deliver end-to-end Microsoft solutions.
Experience in enterprise technology sales, preferably in cybersecurity or cloud security domains (no specific years required).
Strong understanding of Microsoft’s Security stack, including Zero Trust architecture.
Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, and/or risk management transformation.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with Microsoft field teams or partner ecosystem is a plus.
