The Buyer is responsible for managing sourcing and negotiation activities to achieve the best Total Cost of Ownership for parts and services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material availability and on-time supplier deliveries across Malaysia's plants.
As a Buyer, you will engage in day-to-day sourcing and negotiation activities, collaborating closely with logistics and order management teams. You will ensure compliance with standard operating procedures while managing purchase requisitions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or purchasing.
Proficiency in using MS Excel for planning and analyzing inventory levels.
Knowledge of the SAP MM Module is considered a significant advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
