In this position, the Cashier will engage with customers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean counter area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to management.
- Replenish products near the checkout station as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately throughout the shift.
Job Requirements
Malaysian citizen aged 18 years or older.
Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
Proficiency in handling cash transactions and basic inventory monitoring.
Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Willingness to be based specifically at Medan Bayan, Bayan Lepas.
