Job Description
As a Cashier at Nu Sentral, you will engage with customers daily, assisting them with their purchases and inquiries in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be responsible for handling cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining a clean and organized counter space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with purchases and inquiries.
- Accurately handle cash and card transactions.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Manage the cash register efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish counter stock to avoid shortages.
- Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
- Keep the counter clean and tidy to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
Job Requirements
High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math skills.
Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
