Role Summary
The Chargeman Letrik (A4) is responsible for operating, managing, and maintaining power systems and electrical equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems within various operational environments.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in the daily management and maintenance of power systems, protection systems, and switchboards. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage power systems and switchboards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot alarm systems and low voltage circuit breakers.
- Synchronize power generators to ensure efficient operation.
- Understand and apply electrical supply regulations.
- Repair electrical systems, including underground cables and motor control devices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance system performance.
Job Requirements
Must possess a valid Chargeman Letrik (A4) certification.
Knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and electrical safety regulations.
Experience in maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.
Familiarity with generator synchronization and maintenance.
