Job Description
As a GIS Analyst intern, you will assist in the collection, processing, and management of geospatial data related to oil palm plantations. Your responsibilities include supporting drone operations, monitoring plantation areas using satellite data, and maintaining geospatial databases. You will also generate maps and reports for internal use and assist in ensuring data accuracy according to established GIS standards.
Job Requirements
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or related field
Minimum of one year experience in UAV mapping and GIS analysis
Proficient in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, Global Mapper or QGIS
Experience in drone operations for UAV mapping
Willing to travel for fieldwork
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good report writing skills
