Job Description
Sunway Medical Centre Bandar Sunway is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to ensure the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medicines through the review of prescriptions and medication regimens. The role involves participating in the development and implementation of clinical services, guidelines, and policies to enhance safe clinical practice, while ensuring compliance with legal and hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the Clinical Pharmacist will provide guidance to Pharmacy Technicians and Provisionally Registered Pharmacists.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of hospital pharmacy practice, with relevant clinical pharmacy experience.
Ability to demonstrate good clinical pharmacy knowledge skills, clinical reasoning and judgement when assessing patient’s pharmaceutical needs.
Passionate and possesses the desire to continually improve knowledge & clinical skills.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
