Job Description
In this remote position, the Cloud Engineer will manage cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, user administration, and monitoring. The role also includes troubleshooting and supporting audits, security scans, and routine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer cloud-based infrastructure deployment.
- Provision and de-provision resources as needed.
- Monitor resource utilization and performance.
- Conduct backup and incident management activities.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support audits and security scans.
- Execute disaster recovery drills and routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with teams to implement new technologies.
Job Requirements
B.S. degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
Knowledge of Linux, web applications, and database systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
Understanding of network, storage, and security in cloud environments.
Experience with automation tools (Ansible/Rundeck) is a plus.
