This role involves collaboration with various business units to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and the implementation of best practices in data management.
Job Description
We are seeking a Data Governance & Privacy Consultant to lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Sunway’s data governance and privacy framework. In this role, you will drive key initiatives across the Group to ensure responsible, secure, and compliant data practices. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with stakeholders from across Sunway’s 13 core business divisions, gaining broad exposure to diverse operations and data environments.
Job Requirements
Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Data Management or related disciplines.
Experience or knowledge/interest in data governance, data privacy, and information security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the Group.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, solve problems, and able to think out-of-the-box.
Knowledge of data management and privacy tools and technologies will be an advantage.
Preferably 2 years of related experience in both advisory and implementation either in areas of Data Governance & Privacy, IT Strategy, Transformation and/or Operations.
