Job Description
In this role, the Contract Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the tendering process, working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and compliance with project specifications. The position requires attending meetings, managing risks, and negotiating terms to enhance the overall tender process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full tender process from initial review to final submission.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Review tender documents for compliance with client requirements.
- Attend meetings to discuss project specifications and requirements.
- Manage risks associated with tender submissions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve tender processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in tendering large-scale construction projects.
Good knowledge of construction methods, costing, procurement, and contract administration.
Familiar with industry-standard contract forms such as PAM, PWD, FIDIC, CIDB, and JCT.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
