
The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the tender process for construction projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency. This role requires strong collaboration with various teams and effective negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.
The Contract Manager will lead the full tender process from initial review to final submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project feasibility. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to develop accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, attending meetings, managing risk, negotiating terms, and continuously improving tender processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in tendering large-scale construction projects
Good knowledge of construction methods, costing, procurement and contract administration
Familiar with industry-standard contract forms such as PAM, PWD, FIDIC, CIDB and JCT
Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines
