Job Description
As a Customs and Shipping Executive, you will manage day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring efficient communication between marketers, buyers, and various stakeholders. You will handle shipping documentation and liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import and export shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage shipping documentation and apply for necessary permits.
- Ensure compliance with the Customs Act and MITI requirements.
- Liaise with banks and forwarding agents to expedite clearance.
- Source competitive shipping rates to optimize costs.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or minimum Diploma in any field.
2-3 years of experience in export and import shipping operations.
Strong understanding of international trade Incoterms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Good interpersonal skills and a professional working attitude.
