Job Description
As a Data Scientist specializing in Time Series Forecasting, you will join the Kuala Lumpur Modeling, Optimization & Data Science team. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with global teams to drive innovation in data science and AI applications.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement time series forecasting models to support business decisions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex commercial problems. - Provide technical leadership in the application of machine learning and statistical analysis. - Optimize supply chain activities through data-driven insights. - Support the AI strategy by developing scalable data-driven tools. - Conduct model assessments and ensure explainability of AI solutions. - Engage in software testing and development practices using Agile methodologies.
Job Requirements
PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
At least 3 years of experience in time series forecasting within research or industry.
Strong mathematical understanding of algorithms and model assessment.
Proficiency in Python and relevant data science packages.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
