
The Petroleum Engineer is responsible for optimizing production and enhancing the performance of ExxonMobil's diverse asset portfolio. This role involves collaboration with global teams to analyze and improve well and field performance in a dynamic work environment.
The Petroleum Engineer role is based in Kuala Lumpur and involves collaborating with global technical and operation teams to support ExxonMobil's portfolio of Deepwater, Conventional, Unconventional, and LNG assets. The position focuses on production engineering and optimization, working within dynamic and diverse teams to analyze well and field performance, integrate with related disciplines, support operational schedules, and conduct system surveillance to identify production opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's or Master's engineering degree in petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or relevant disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Operational experience in inflow/outflow/flowline modeling.
Knowledge of production well testing and allocation principles.
Familiarity with well design and completion technologies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage workload under pressure.
