The Davenport Operator is responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of multi-spindle turning machines, primarily Davenport machines, to produce precision-engineered components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings while working under the supervision of the Production Manager to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.
