
The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading the property's sales department to achieve booking and revenue goals. This role significantly impacts the hotel's performance through strategic sales initiatives and effective marketing campaigns.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the sales department, guiding a team to meet and exceed sales objectives while managing marketing efforts. You will collaborate closely with regional marketing communications to implement brand strategies and ensure the property stands out in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Education of a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, or a 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications include a 4-year college degree and demonstrated skills in supervising a team.
Experience in lodging sales and hotel industry work showing progressive career growth.
Ability to manage strategic sales plans and develop strong working relationships.
Skills in managing marketing budgets and leading a sales team.
