The Draughtsman is responsible for developing and preparing architectural designs and drawings based on preliminary concepts and specifications. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that projects are delivered to completion while adhering to local authority requirements.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the daily preparation of architectural designs and drawings, collaborating closely with the Head of Department and other consultants. You will utilize your skills in AutoCAD and BIM to create accurate and compliant construction documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare architectural designs and drawings based on preliminary concepts.
- Assist the Head of Department in delivering projects until final completion.
- Prepare full sets of construction drawings for submission.
- Resolve potential operational issues creatively.
- Utilize BIM for design analysis and coordination.
- Coordinate consultant inputs into finalized drawings.
- Prepare submission drawings for local authority approval.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural, Building Construction or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Requires skills in REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
Required languages are English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Mandarin in both verbal and written forms.
Candidate must be self-motivated and result-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
Candidate must be able to work independently to maintain high standards and accuracy.
