Job Description
The Duty Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment. This role involves calibrating controls and gauges, inspecting fire safety systems, responding to repair requests, and assisting with disaster response protocols. The Duty Engineer also supports management in employee-related functions and ensures compliance with safety and company policies.
Job Requirements
Education from a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School.
At least 2 years of related work experience.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 50 pounds and operating power tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Professional personal appearance and confidentiality maintenance.
