Role Summary
The role involves assisting in the troubleshooting and repair of various systems within the hospital. The intern will support the Hospital Engineer in managing facilities and ensuring efficient operations of hospital assets.
Job Description
To assist perform trouble shooting and repair of the Electrical, Civil and Mechanical systems. Assist Hospital Engineer to managing the Facilities Engineering Services - Building, Facility and Equipment in the Hospital. Provide technical advice in relation to operation & maintenance, modifications/upgrading of mechanical system and preparation of documentation/reports. Assist in implementing and keeping abreast of energy management practices.
Job Requirements
A Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Additional certifications or training related to hospital engineering or facility management is a plus.
3 year Working experience with practical knowledge in operation and system maintenance in Healthcare Building, Facility and Equipment Management.
Strong knowledge of building infrastructure, maintenance practices, and hospital operations.
Good understanding of hospital regulations and safety codes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
Ability to use facility management software and tools for documentation, reporting, and scheduling.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
