Role Summary
The Executive, Financial Planning & Reporting is responsible for assisting in the Group's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and supporting management in performance monitoring.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in day-to-day financial planning activities, collaborating with various business units to compile and prepare the consolidated Group Budget. You will also be involved in preparing reports and presentations for management, ensuring a dynamic work environment focused on financial accuracy and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in compiling and preparing the consolidated Group Budget.
- Ensure accuracy of budget data from subsidiaries.
- Support the review of budgets through data checks and variance analysis.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management.
- Monitor performance against budget.
- Collaborate with all business units to gather necessary financial data.
- Conduct variance analysis to interpret financial data.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field.
Strong experience in financial consolidation and modeling.
Ability to interpret financial data and perform variance analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
