Job Description
In this position, the carpenter will engage in daily maintenance tasks, collaborating with various departments to address requests and ensure the functionality of hotel amenities. The work environment is dynamic, requiring effective communication and teamwork to uphold the hotel's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with departments to respond to maintenance requests.
- Schedule major repairs or system shutdowns as needed.
- Maintain records of purchase orders and inventory.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure a professional appearance and maintain confidentiality.
- Provide excellent guest service and maintain positive working relationships.
- Perform visual inspections of tools and equipment.
- Complete other job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
Must follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills with clear and professional language.
Basic computer skills for entering and locating work-related information.
Willingness to complete safety training and certifications.
