Job Description
The Finance Manager (General Ledger) role involves leading month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements, and driving finance process improvements through data automation. This position also requires preparation and review of management and statutory financial reports, strengthening internal controls, liaising with auditors and stakeholders, and supervising team members in general ledger operations.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent as an advantage.
Minimum 6 E 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or general ledger.
Strong knowledge of MFRS / IFRS, month-end closing, and statutory reporting.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems; involvement in ERP implementation or migration is a plus.
Data-driven mindset with experience working with large datasets and automation tools as a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work under tight timelines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
