
The Finance Manager (General Ledger) is responsible for overseeing the financial closing processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role plays a critical part in enhancing financial operations and reporting within the organization.
In this role, you will lead the month-end and year-end closing processes while working in a dynamic finance team environment. You will also focus on driving improvements through data automation and ensuring compliance with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent as an advantage.
Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or general ledger.
Strong knowledge of MFRS / IFRS, month-end closing, and statutory reporting.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems; involvement in ERP implementation or migration is a plus.
Data-driven mindset with experience working with large datasets and automation tools as a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
