Job Description
The Financial Specialist is responsible for overseeing SOX controls within the MIP system and approving invoice processing in the financial ERP system, ensuring compliance with defined service level agreements and key performance indicators. This role is key to delivering high-quality financial services and ensuring full adherence to revenue recognition SOX controls within the Global Business Services Organization.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in SOX controls or working within an audit environment.
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
Flexibility to work extended hours during month-end close or as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and precision.
Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to teamwork.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial systems.
Familiarity with ASC 606 and FASB revenue recognition standards is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
