Role Summary
The Food Safety Senior Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards and certifications. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and investigations to maintain high standards in food and beverage operations.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily activities that include conducting microbiology tests and coordinating with external laboratories. You will also perform on-site inspections and address food safety incidents to ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining HACCP and ISO Certification for F&B Operations.
- Implement the Food and Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Conduct microbiology tests in the Food Safety Laboratory.
- Coordinate sending selected samples to external laboratories for testing.
- Conduct on-site inspections for compliance with SOP and regulatory requirements.
- Attend to food poisoning cases and conduct investigations.
- Ensure immediate rectification of identified issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Study, or Microbiology.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field.
Knowledge of Food and Safety Management System.
Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
Strong interactive skills with internal and external parties.
